“A” formed in 1996, signing to London Records/ Warners. “A” enjoyed an amazing career, recording 4 studio albums and one live album over a 9 year period.

2002 saw the band release their critically acclaimed, best selling album “Hi Fi Serious”. The Album spawned huge hits singles for the band including the rock classic ‘Nothing’ and follow up single ‘Starbucks’. 2002 also saw the band pick up ‘Best British Band’ at the Kerrang Awards!

“A” earned a reputation as one of the world’s top live bands through years of touring, opening for the likes of Green Day, Foo Fighters, No doubt, The Offspring, Sex Pistols, Die Toten Hosen, Bloodhound Gang, as well as becoming a firm favorite of the festival circuit. After the release of their final album, 2005’s ‘Teen Dance Ordinance’ recorded in Seattle with producer Terry Date (Limp Bizkit, Soundgarden, Deftones) the band downed tools to pursue other interests, until now!

2018 Saw the band reform with McFly’s Dougie Poynter to play  Download festival and a major headline tour of the Uk, including a show at London’s Sheperds Bush Empire (playing their hit 2002 album Hi Fi Serious in full)

2019 followed with the band playing a host of UK festivals with a headline UK tour set for November
